The new home of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society providing a focus for agriculture in the North of England.

The Award winning Regional Agricultural Centre comprises of offices for the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, other not – for – profit agricultural and rural related organisations and Fodder, farm shop and cafe.

The £5.1m Centre was part funded by Yorkshire Forward with many sustainable elements incorporated in to the building.

Since opening last year the Centre has received numerous awards including the RICS Pro Yorkshire Award and a RICS national commendation in the sustainability category. Its sustainable features were recognised by the Estates Gazette and it was awarded a Green Award. The building design has also been recognised by Harrogate Civic Society and received the New Build Category Design Award.

  • RIBA White Rose Award for Architecture - Silver
  • RIBA White Rose Sustainability Award
  • 2010 Yorkshire Rural Awards – Green Business Award (Highly Commended)

Tenants are pleased with their decision to locate at the Regional Agricultural Centre, the Cleveland Bay Horse Society comments ‘That the offices provide a superb working environment and give them a bird’s eye view of the showground’s horse arena.’

Pub is the Hub has recently moved into two offices, staff find the offices a highly motivational environment to base themselves due to the quality specification of the building and the business support they receive from the Yorkshire Agricultural Society.
